:) Sitting down and writing is not his favourite task but he does enjoy it once you can make him sit. AND sessions have to be short.

Ritvik Said It ...

Bus is made from bones :-)
Trucks and all other vehicles are living things as they have shed to live :-)
When you press cows bummsys, she gives milk but don't try pressing mine, 'coz you will get poopoo :-)

Why does snake stick out his tongue all the time?

Last week when I was helping Ritvik wash his hand, after he came back from school I spotted a star on his hand. (Teachers give a star to kids to encourage and appreciate them). I asked him why did teacher give him a star today. He said because he answered the question correctly. And what was the question ... I asked. He said "Why does snake stick his tongue out, all the time?, I answered - to smell". I said "But doesn't he smell by nose". He said, "Know Mommy, don't you know, we smell by nose but snake smells by his tongue". I did not contest it and checked it on Internet, he was right. Snake does smell by his knows. I went back to him to ask how did he know. He told me Carla told him. Carla is a Zebra in Mama Mirabella from Ceebeebiees. I felt proud of him but sorry that I did not know it. Got to keep pace with the kid.

Ritvik is learning Roller Skates

There have been lots of new thing in last one year ... we moved to Mumbai ... Ritvik made new friends, tried swimming, learning skates and BIGGEST of all ... Ritvik is a BIG Brother to Vartika, now. He loves to go in the pool but ... no instructor please. Skating instructor is better. She even makes him play games in the class. This Sunday she made two groups in the class and gave each kid number from 1 to 16 in group A and 1 to 16 in group B. Ritvik was number 3 in group A. She would call out a number and that number had to come and try to pick up the key from middle and run back (on skates). My sweetheart (one of the youngest few) not only ran to pick it up on his turn but every subsequent call outs. :-) He made everyone's Sunday full of laughter. He likes skating class ... till now.
